On Monday 25 and Tuesday 26 August, Mission Leaders from Mercy Partners ministries gathered in Brisbane for a two-day event focused on the theme Partners in Mission: Carrying One Another to Christ.
Facilitated by Dr. Lisa McDonald, the gathering provided a valuable opportunity for Mission Leaders to connect, reflect, and support one another through shared experiences that nurtured, challenged, and inspired.
Throughout the two days, participants engaged in a variety of experiences, including sharing memorable mission moments, prayer, reflections on the founding charisms of their ministries, scripture through Lectio Divina, Conversations in the Spirit, and discussion about the significance of partnership, guided by the Mercy Partners Theological Framework.
Day one concluded with a shared meal, joined by representatives from the Mercy Partners Board.
To close the event, Mission Leaders entered a time of personal reflection, contemplating the insights and inspirations the Spirit had revealed to carry forward in their daily lives. The gathering concluded with a group sharing around the labyrinth, where participants explored future possibilities and considered the next steps in their collective journey.
