Charisms

A charism is a spiritual gift or grace given by the Holy Spirit to individuals or groups for the benefit of others and the building up of the Church.

In the context of our ministries, a charism is the distinctive spiritual gift or calling that shapes our ministry’s identity, inspires their mission, and guides the way they serve others.

Mercy Partners is a multi-charism Public Juridic Person (PJP), embodying the Mercy of God through collaborative partnerships across diverse ministries.

Mercy Partners works within the Catholic Church that governs ministries originally founded by different religious congregations/orders, each ministry has its own unique charism – or spiritual focus and mission.  The benefit of being a multi-charism PJP is that Mercy Partners ensures each ministry retains its foundation charism while benefiting from shared governance, formation and support.
