16th January: Leadership Talk Intensive
All Hallows’ School, Brisbane

On Monday 16 January 2023 the All Hallows’ Leadership Team examined Catholic Identity and what Catherine McAuley can teach us about nurturing an authentic Catholic culture within a school community.

18th January: Leadership Talk Intensive
St Ursula’s College, Yeppoon

On Wednesday 18 January 2023 the staff at St Ursula’s College Yeppoon looked at excellence as a Presentation value and the importance of ‘Being Your Best’ in whatever you do.

19th January: Executive Retreat
Our Lady of Mercy College Parramatta

On Thursday 19 January 2023 Mercy Partners Director of Formation, Dr Caroline Thompson worked with the Leadership Team at Our Lady of Mercy College Parramatta and facilitated a half-day retreat on Leadership Lessons from the Parables.

20th January: Reflection Day
Holy Spirit, New Farm and Good Shepherd, Springfield lakes

On Friday 20 January 2023 Mercy Partners Director of Formation, Dr Caroline Thompson worked with Holy Spirit New Farm and Good Shepherd Springfield Lakes to facilitate a staff reflection day on Catherine McAuley and nurturing the charism of mercy.

The reflection day activities focused on the life, mission and legacy of Catherine McAuley and allowed staff to consider how to strengthen the charism in their schools. 

23rd January: Staff Reflection Day
St Mary’s College, Ipswich

On the Monday 23 January, Mercy Partners Director of Formation Dr Caroline Thompson attended St Mary’s College Ipswich to facilitate a staff reflection day on Catherine McAuley and the mercy heart of the school. This year St Mary’s celebrates its 169th anniversary – it was established by Ellen Whitty two years after the Sisters of Mercy arrived in Brisbane. It was a pleasure to be joined on the day by Sisters of Mercy who had been students and/or teachers at the College. In the afternoon the Sisters shared their wisdom with the staff in table groups.
