Mercy Partners Formation has been facilitating mini-Advent Retreats and celebrating a Very Franciscan Christmas that truly touches the heart.
We have been to Townsville, North Sydney, Brisbane and Rockhampton. In each place we have heard the beautiful and sacred ways ministries and individuals prepare for Christmas. We have been captivated by the beautiful ways in which ministries and individuals are preparing for the birth of Jesus. In the comfort of their homes and workplaces, the presence of the Christmas nativity scene creates a profound connection to the incarnate Christ.
Just as Francis of Assisi did 800 years ago, we invite all in attendance to breathe life into this season and infuse it with the essence of their local community.
Our hope this Christmas is for your nativity scene to become a reflection of the diverse faces and stories that make up our world – a story that welcomes everyone with open arms.
Together, let us celebrate a Very Franciscan Christmas, where the spirit of love, compassion, and inclusivity shines brightly for all to see.
Steward Director
Margaret Endicott rsm and Caroline Thompson attend the Inauguration of Steward-Directors of Loreto Ministries. Loreto Ministries is Australia’s newest PJP. Margaret and Caroline worked with Loreto Ministries on their Public Juridic Person process.
On Saturday 25th November at Loreto College Ballarat, Caroline was inducted as a Steward Director. We congratulate Caroline and the six other Stewards on their appointment.
