2024 Connected Newsletter, Summer in Review: Welcome and Thank you

Over the last three months we have welcomed some new faces, said some farewells, and celebrated some promotions and achievements across the wider Mercy Partners family. 

Mercy Partners is delighted to welcome Sr Peta Goldburg rsm as our new Steward Representative for the Sisters of Mercy Brisbane Congregation.  Sr Peta replaces Sr Cath Reuter whom we are extremely grateful to for her support, service and contribution as a Steward Representative of Mercy Partners.

From a ministry perspective, we welcome Chris Grover who has joined the Holy Cross Services Board in January as their new Board Director. 

We are also grateful for the dedication and service of the following ministry Board Directors who have concluded their tenures on the respective ministry Boards.

  • Elizabeth Gaber – St Rita’s College 
  • Mark Boulton – All Hallows’ School 

In addition, we are pleased to congratulate the following ministry Board Directors on their new Board positions. 

  • Patrick Brady – Mater Health Group’s new Chair 
  • Bridget Wells – St Ursula’s College new Deputy Chair 

Finally, we are excited to share that Grant Power, a Religion teacher from All Hallows’ School has been accepted into the 2024 Mercy Integral Ecology Fellowship Program.  The program is sponsored by the Institute of the Sisters of Mercy Australia and Papua New Guinea (ISMAPNG) in association with Catholic Religious Australia and Catholic Earthcare and is offered to only four people each year.  Congratulations Grant!
