2026-2028 Strategic Priorities
At the annual Mercy Partners Planning Day held in late January, the Mercy Partners Board gathered to reflect on the progress against the 2023–2025 Strategic Priorities and to guide the development of the 2026–2028 Strategic Priorities.
The Board reaffirmed its commitment to continuing the courageous leadership of its founding charisms by discerning and responding to the emerging needs of the Church in a rapidly changing world. In shaping the new priorities for 2026–2028, the Board agreed that they must provide a strong framework to guide governance, leadership, formation, advocacy, and stewardship in fulfilling Mercy Partners’ canonical and civil responsibilities and continue to fulfill its mission.
The Strategic Priorities for 2026–2028 are:
- Canonical Sponsorship
- Leadership and Advocacy
- Sustainability
Each priority is supported by defined focus areas.
