On 19 March 2025, Mercy Partners held their annual Ministry Board Chairs Gathering. This year the gathering was held online and was attended by the Mercy Partners Board and each ministry’s Board Chair or their nominated delegate.
The gathering was an opportunity for the Mercy Partners Board to provide some key updates to the ministries including:
- An overview of the additions to the 2025 Annual Ministry Planning Guide (2nd edition).
- A discussion on inter-ministry collaboration opportunities with the Mater.
- An overview on the current Formation Pilot Program.
- The new prayer and meeting resource, The Synodal Way.
To assist with the evaluation of the gathering, a survey was distributed to each ministry’s representative. The results of the survey confirmed that the ministries thought the gathering was beneficial as it allowed them to hear the latest updates from Mercy Partners and collaborate with the other ministries. The ministries valuable feedback will be used to develop the next year’s gathering agenda.
Mercy Partners appreciated the ministries representatives taking time out of their busy days to attend the gathering.
