Ministry Annual General Meetings
April 2026, Brisbane, Yeppoon and Melbourne
As part of the governance Mercy Partners undertakes with its ministries, it is responsible for chairing each ministry’s Annual General Meeting (AGM). In April four of our schools held their AGMs. These were:
- 21 April – St Ursula’s College AGM, chaired by Mercy Partners Board Director, Cath Parker
- 22 April – Mount Alvernia College AGM, chaired by Mercy Partners Board Director, Lee Anne Perry
- 22 April – St Rita’s College AGM, chaired by Mercy Partners Board Director, Cheryl Caughley
- 28 April – All Hallows’ School AGM, chaired by Mercy Partners Board Director, Jenny Parker
- 29 April – Our Lady of Sion College AGM, chaired by Mercy Partners Board Director, Patricia Bergin
Chairing the AGMs enables members of the Mercy Partners Board to engage directly with each ministry and to further strengthen constructive and collaborative relationships with the respective ministry Boards.
Civil Governance and Canonical Sponsorship Induction
28 April 2026, Brisbane
On 28 April, Mercy Partners CEO John Leahy and Director of Formation Kate Garrone facilitated a Civil Governance and Canonical Sponsorship induction for the All Hallows’ School Board on behalf of Mercy Partners.
These induction sessions support ministry Boards to understand their responsibilities as Directors of a Mercy Partners ministry, including the Reserve Powers held by Mercy Partners as sole member.
The second part of the session focused on Canonical Governance and the ministry Board’s role in Formation.
