Mercy Haven Opens Its Doors in Rockhampton

Mercy Partners Chair, Dr Ricki Jeffery, and Board Director, Cheryl Caughley, were honoured to join the Mercy Community team, dignitaries, and The Most Reverend Bishop Michael McCarthy, Catholic Bishop of Rockhampton, for the blessing and official opening of Mercy Community’s newest aged care residence in Rockhampton.
Mercy Haven is a beautifully designed, three-storey, 90-bed facility created to offer residents a sense of privacy, comfort, and connection. Featuring private ensuited rooms, welcoming community spaces, and tranquil gardens, the residence has been thoughtfully crafted to provide a home-like environment that honours the dignity and individual needs of every resident.
This milestone event marks a significant advancement in aged care services for Central Queensland. With its doors now open, Mercy Haven is not only welcoming residents but also contributing to the local economy by creating over 120 new jobs in the region.
