Mercy Community’s Clean up Australia Day
6 March,
Lowood

The kids and carers alike at Mercy Community – Lowood Early Years Service joined in the fun on Clean Up Australia Day. They had a blast helping to keep the community clean and green with fun activities. These included crafting art from recycled products and using gold glitter in water to demonstrate the importance of keeping our oceans clean.

A reading of One Remarkable Reef by Kellie Byrnes helped teach them the importance of caring for our planet and the creatures who call it home. Mercy Community Lowood – Early Years Service is dedicated to strengthening families by providing them with access to a wide range of local community resources in the Somerset Region.

It is wonderful to see Mercy Community teaching the next generation that you are never too young to look after the environment.
