Welcome to the Nudgee Trust

1

Established on 8 October 1869, the Nudgee Trust began when Bishop James Quinn appointed four Sisters of Mercy as Trustees for several parcels of land in Nudgee.

In a significant transition, the Brisbane Sisters of Mercy transferred the role of Trustee to Mercy Partners on 1 January 2019.

Today, the Nudgee Trust plays a vital role in supporting Mercy Partners’ mission by providing financial grants to its sponsored ministries, helping them continue their work in aged care, community and disability services, education, health, social enterprise and social justice.

Since 2017, the Nudgee Trust has awarded over $6 million in grant funding, supporting a diverse range of impactful projects across various sectors.

The charts below illustrate how funding has been allocated by sector and the focus areas of supported projects.
