Formation Programs
The Mercy Partners Formation Directorate offers a range of programs, events, resources and support for leaders in Mercy Partners ministries to foster and incorporate the founding congregations culture, values, charism and Catholic identity.
It is part of the responsibility of all PJPs to provide formation opportunities for the leaders of the ministries that they sponsor so that aspects of mission and charism will develop in response to future realities (Wright 2015).
Mercy Partners Formation is committed to offering quality formation experiences which honour local experience, enhance relationships and connections, build mission capacity, respond to current issues and challenges and enhance Church community and networking.
Formation Opportunities
Mercy Partners Formation in collaboration with the Mercy Partners Board also facilitate leaders’ gatherings and professional learning opportunities in Leadership, Catholic Identity and Mission Integration.

- Steward Representatives
- Religious Sisters from founding congregations
- Mercy Partners Board
- Mercy Partners Committee Members
- Ministry Chairs, Directors, CEOs, Principals, Executive and key staff
- Guests invited by Mercy Partners
- Other leaders in like ministries
- Emerging leaders
